Trump Organization Plans Australia's Tallest Skyscraper in Queensland

Queensland. The Trump Organization, the company of US President Donald Trump, has unveiled plans to construct the country's tallest skyscraper in Australia. According to Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the company, the proposed tower will be 335 meters tall, claiming it will surpass all existing structures.

Named 'Trump International Hotel and Tower, Gold Coast,' this project will be built in the Gold Coast region of Queensland.

The construction cost of this building, estimated to be around 91 stories high, is projected to be at least 1 billion US dollars. Developer Atlas Property Group has indicated that construction is set to begin in August.

The structure will feature 285 hotel rooms and 272 luxury residential apartments. Additionally, it will include high-end retail shops, restaurants, and a special beach club connected to the famous coastline. The company claims this project will bring the prestige of a world-class luxury brand to Australia.

However, competition has emerged following the announcement of this plan. The twin tower project named 'One Park Lane,' proposed for the same coastal area, is said to be nearly 50 meters taller, potentially challenging the Trump project. Meanwhile, criticism has also surfaced regarding the possibility that the company may have gained commercial advantages while Trump was in office as president.

Previously, an investigation by a US congressional committee noted that claims regarding the revenue of the Trump Hotel in Washington D.C. were exaggerated. The company has denied these allegations, calling the report misleading.
