Janata Samajbadi Party Expels Three Local Leaders in Mahottari for Anti-Party Activities

Mahottari. The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal has taken action against the chiefs of two municipalities and one deputy chief in Mahottari.

JSP Nepal expelled Suresh Sah Sonar, Mayor of Jaleshwar Municipality, Ramjanki Yadav, Chairman of Pipra Rural Municipality, and Vice-Chairperson Bandana Pandey from the party, effective immediately, for allegedly engaging in activities against the party's official candidate in Mahottari's Constituency Number-3 for the upcoming House of Representatives election.

The party's district chairman, Ramnaresh Rai, issued a statement informing that fifteen leaders and cadres, including them, were disciplined for acting against the party's interests, discipline, and bylaws.

The statement also mentioned that Central Committee member Shyam Yadav, Harinarayan Mandal, and Provincial Committee member Bandana Pandey have been recommended for expulsion at the central and provincial levels.

Here, JSP Nepal has nominated Minakshi Thakur as the candidate in Mahottari-3, but the expelled leaders have been supporting the party's rebel and independent candidate, Harinarayan Yadav.
