CPN-UML Chairman Oli Stresses Party's Commitment to Peaceful Politics and Stability

Jhapa, February 11: Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML), KP Sharma Oli, stated that the party under his leadership stands in favor of peaceful politics and stability.

Speaking at an event organized in Damak today, he mentioned that the National Volunteer Force has been formed not just for elections but for the long-term security of the nation.

Chairman Oli claimed that no one would be able to burn the country or snatch police weapons in the name of agitation as they did in the past. He stated that the National Volunteer Force will be dedicated to the nation and will support the police administration.

Chairman Oli emphasized that CPN-UML is firmly in favor of peaceful elections and stressed that voters must be able to cast their ballots independently. He mentioned that CPN-UML has formed the Koshi Province-level National Youth Force. Addressing the election rally, he stated that district headquarters across the country have been connected to the road network.

Stating that the road from Olchungung to Taplejung in Koshi Province has been opened and is being paved, Chairman Oli said, "Our job is to develop; roads and bridges have been built in every place, not just this area, and agriculture has been modernized."
