CPN-UML Chairman Oli Claims Party is Sole Force to Salvage Nation from Crisis

Jhapa. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has claimed that UML is the only force capable of saving the country from crisis and managing its declining situation. Addressing the declaration ceremony of the 'National Youth Volunteers' Koshi Province Committee organized in Damak, Jhapa, his home district, on Monday, he announced that UML will take the leadership of the country after the upcoming elections.

Expressing confidence that the public will defeat elements attempting to disrupt social harmony and cause increasing anarchy and vandalism in the country through the elections. Former Prime Minister Oli, who is a candidate from Jhapa Constituency No. 5 in the upcoming House of Representatives election, clarified that UML's first priority is the nation, not power.

Stating, 'UML says, everything else later, nation first,' he argued that UML's victory is essential for peaceful politics and stability. Warning against dreaming of winning elections by confusing citizens or causing destruction, he mentioned that the Nepali people already recognize which party works concretely in the fields of education, health, and employment.

At the program, Oli specifically discussed the formation and justification of the 'National Volunteer Force.' He stated that this force is being built not just for the election but for the long-term security of the nation and to support the police administration. Recalling the anarchy and attacks on state mechanisms in the name of past movements, he claimed that with the presence of the National Youth Force, no one would dare to burn the country or snatch police weapons. He added that this force will work in a disciplined manner as the power of the people and play a significant role in maintaining law and order.

Chairman Oli committed that UML is dedicated to making the upcoming elections fair and free from rigging, issuing a stern warning to those harboring undemocratic thoughts like booth capturing. Saying, 'No one should even dream of capturing booths; the National Volunteer Force is here,' he stated that UML will ensure an environment where voters can cast their ballots independently.

He concluded by asserting that there is no alternative to UML to usher the country into an era of prosperity and fulfill the basic needs of the people, appealing to voters in Jhapa and across the country to stand in favor of UML.
