Nepali Congress Candidate Sachin Timalsena Unveils Manifesto with 10 Key Commitments for Kathmandu-4

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress candidate for Kathmandu-4, Sachin Timalsena, has publicly released his manifesto. In the manifesto unveiled on Monday, he has presented 10 concrete achievements to be realized within 5 years as a standard for performance.

Defining politics as a means to expand citizen capacity and ensure equal opportunity, Timalsena stated that good governance and individual freedom are his core principles. 

Timalsena pledged to prioritize good governance by cutting unnecessary discretionary powers, making government services digital and 'faceless,' and promoting the rule of law. 

He has included plans to improve roads, traffic management, sidewalks, and alternative transportation, and under land reform, to classify and resolve the haphazard settlements in the Kapan area.

Timalsena has pledged to clarify land use regulations to modernize the agricultural sector, encourage block farming, and prepare the legal basis for international branding of organic produce. 

In the health sector, he stated his priority is an integrated health system based on insurance. The manifesto mentions making Nepal a 'Digital No-Mad' destination, repealing old laws to introduce new cyber security and e-commerce acts, establishing a legal provision for 'regulatory relief,' and launching programs to make youth 'digital entrepreneurs.'
