Clash Between Nepali and Chinese Workers at Sindhuli Food Company Leaves Seven Injured

Sindhuli. Seven people were injured in a clash between Nepali and Chinese workers at the Himalayan Food Company located in Marin Rural Municipality-4, Sindhuli.

Among the injured are two Nepali workers and five Chinese workers. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Suryaprakash Subedi of the District Police Office, Sindhuli, 30-year-old Navaraj Bamjan from Dhamile, Marin Rural Municipality-6, sustained injuries to his right eye and right leg. 22-year-old Gorkhan Katuwal, residing in Katari Municipality-12, Udayapur, suffered a head injury.

According to him, the injured Chinese nationals working at the Himalayan Food Company are 38-year-old Mr. Yang, 45-year-old Yang Haibo Waia, 40-year-old Qiang Zhong, 46-year-old Chu Zhen, and 31-year-old Leusensi. Deputy Superintendent of Police Subedi stated that they sustained injuries to their ears, head, hands, chest, and mouth, and are currently receiving treatment at the primary health center in Kapilakot, Marin.

The dispute reportedly began over the termination of 30-year-old Navaraj Bamjan from Dhamile, Marin Rural Municipality-6. Sindhuli Police have stated that further investigation into the incident is underway.
