Bus Crash Near Dhading Kills 17, Including Two Foreign Nationals

 Seventeen people, including two foreign nationals, were killed when a passenger bus met with an accident near Charaundi in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-7 of Dhading along the Prithvi Highway. 

The bus, bearing registration number Ga 2 Kha 1421, was traveling from Pokhara to Kathmandu when it plunged into the Trishuli River bank. The District Police Office, Dhading, reported that 11 men and six women died at the scene of the accident. 

All 28 injured individuals have been rescued from the accident site. While some of the injured are receiving treatment at local hospitals, the majority have been sent to Kathmandu.

The rescue operation was carried out by all three security agencies in the district along with local residents.
