RPP Leader Khushbu Oli Stresses Need for Monarchy and Hindu State to Save Nepal

Jhapa. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader and proportional representation candidate Khushbu Oli has stated that the monarchy and a Hindu state are necessary to save the nation.

Addressing an election rally in Jhapa Constituency No. 4 on Sunday, she accused the current political system of pushing the country towards economic crisis and corruption.

Oli claimed that major parties—UML, Congress, and Maoist—have repeatedly promised land ownership deeds (Lalpurja) to the poor and landless for years but have failed to implement them.

She alleged a tendency among politicians to only visit constituents during elections and forget their problems after winning. She expressed dissatisfaction that even powerful ministers and prime ministers who have led the government multiple times could not provide land deeds to the citizens in this area.

She warned that if elected, they would raise the voice of the people in parliament and even resort to street protests to secure the land deeds if necessary. She stated that the era of the old parties' "cultivation of illusion" must end and that voters should opt for honest politics.

Criticizing the current republican system, Oli asserted that industries operated during the monarchy but have shut down after the republic. She claimed that the operational costs of the current president and republican structures exceed those of the royal palace, and the country is falling into massive debt. Accusing current leaders of failing to take responsibility when the country is in crisis, she presented the monarchy as a permanent guardian.

Mentioning that the issue of a Sanatana Hindu state is a priority, she accused secularism of attacking the Sanatana religion. She claimed that religious conversions are happening under foreign influence and stated that a Hindu nation is necessary to stop this.

Accusing major parties of becoming directionless, she stated that Jhapa Constituency No. 4 has been neglected in terms of development. She committed that if elected, they would end the contractor syndicate and ensure equitable development based on need and geography.
