KP Sharma Oli Expresses Doubts Over Upcoming Election Integrity

Jhapa. CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that doubts have arisen regarding the election scheduled for Falgun 21. Chairman Oli expressed this view while interacting with journalists during his election campaign in his constituency, Jhapa.

Oli asserted that the government must dispel these doubts, adding that the election should not be postponed under any pretext. He mentioned that people are seriously harboring suspicions of electoral fraud. He stated that the government should address such apprehensions.

Chairman Oli noted that people are not confident about peace, advising the government to guarantee law and order. 'Even though we have participated in the election, my party, UML, is ready to cooperate for a fair, independent, and peaceful election,' Oli clarified, adding that UML will not participate in any activities aimed at disrupting or spoiling the election environment.
