Ballot Paper Transport Completed for Three Provinces in Nepal's General Election

Kathmandu. The transport of ballot papers for the House of Representatives elections has been completed in Sudurpashchim Province, Karnali Province, and Koshi Province. The Election Commission provided this information through a regular press conference on Friday.

Assistant Spokesperson for the Commission, Sita Pun Shrestha, stated that the ballot paper transport work for the remaining 4 provinces is underway and is expected to be finished within two days. The Election Commission has expedited the process of transporting ballot papers along with election materials to all districts.

The Commission announced that the transport of ballot papers is being carried out to complete all tasks within the stipulated timeline. Assistant Spokesperson Shrestha said, 'We printed and packed 20,323,000 ballot papers for the 165 constituencies across 77 districts for the first-past-the-post election. Similarly, we printed the proportional representation ballot papers, totaling 20,830,000. We have completed the transport of ballot papers to Sudurpashchim, Karnali, and Koshi provinces; they have reached the respective locations. The work to send them to the remaining 4 provinces is ongoing, and we are working to complete the transport of election materials and ballot papers within the schedule prepared by the Election Commission by tomorrow or the day after.'
