Polish Prime Minister Urges Citizens to Leave Iran Amid US-Iran Tensions

Kathmandu. Following US President Donald Trump's indication of potential military action against the Islamic Republic, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Thursday called on all Polish citizens to leave Iran.

Speaking at a press conference, he stated, "All Polish citizens in Iran must leave the country immediately, and under no circumstances should anyone plan to travel to Iran." He added, "The possibility of a hot conflict is very high. It could be in a few hours or a few days; the only option will be to exit Iran."

This is the second time in recent months that the Polish government has called on its citizens to leave the country. The United States is building up military forces near Iran, including warships, fighter jets, and refueling aircraft, and war could erupt at any moment if Trump gives the order.
