Nepali Congress Launches 'Pledge Assembly' Ahead of General Elections

Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress's Pledge Assembly has begun. The assembly commenced on Wednesday in Janakpur in the presence of top leaders including President Gagan Thapa and Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma.

It is from this assembly that the Congress will unveil the party's manifesto, which has been named the 'Pratigyapatra' (Pledge Document). The Congress has stated that thousands of cadres will participate in the assembly.

The general election for the House of Representatives is scheduled for this Falgun 21.
