Joint Security Forces Seize 160 kg of Marijuana in Parsa, Arrest Driver

Parsa. A joint team of the Armed Police Force Nepal, Parsa, and the Nepal Police has seized 160 kilograms of marijuana and arrested the car driver in Pakahamanpur Rural Municipality, Parsa.

The joint team arrested the driver, Buddhilal Ghale, along with the said quantity of marijuana on Monday from a Suzuki Swift car with registration number Pr3-01-002Ch 5432, which was heading towards Madhubanichowk in Pakahamanpur Rural Municipality, Parsa.

Mohan Bahadur Chhetri, Commander of the Armed Police Force Nepal No. 13 Battalion Headquarters and Superintendent of Armed Police, informed that the arrested driver Ghale, caught with the marijuana, has been sent to the Area Police Office, Pokhariya, for necessary action.

Commander Chhetri stated that Ghale was apprehended while attempting to throw away the packaged marijuana from the car's trunk upon being intercepted with the drugs. According to the Armed Police, Rs 22,500 in cash and a Realme company smartphone were also recovered from the possession of driver Ghale.
