Sri Airlines Flight Returns to Kathmandu After Failing to Land in Dhangadhi Mid-Night

Kathmandu. A Sri Airlines aircraft flying from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi returned to Kathmandu in the middle of the night after failing to land at its destination.

Passengers were stranded after the aircraft returned to Kathmandu because it could not land at the destination. Journalist Royal Acharya, who was among the passengers on the flight, stated that passengers expressed dissatisfaction for some time at the airport when the plane returned to Kathmandu without being able to land.

Sagar Poudel, an employee of the airline, informed that passengers wishing to have their tickets refunded will receive their money back, and those wishing to travel will be sent to Dhangadhi on the Tuesday morning flight.

The aircraft departed from Kathmandu for Dhangadhi at 9:45 PM. After repeated unsuccessful attempts to land at Dhangadhi airport, the aircraft returned to Kathmandu at 12:00 AM (midnight). There were 80 passengers, including the cabin crew, on the flight.
