Nepali Congress Vows Good Governance, Seeks Entry of Diverse Professionals into Party Ranks

Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress has resolved to lead the nation toward good governance and prosperity with a changed political consciousness and a clear vision of new leadership. The party states that under the leadership of party president Gagan Kumar Thapa, the Congress is currently prioritizing the campaign for organizational strengthening, policy clarity, and the restoration of public trust. 

Keeping in mind this historic transition period, the Congress believes in building an alternative force and has openly called upon distinguished personalities active in various sectors of society to join the party. Congress Spokesperson and Central Publicity Committee Coordinator Devraj Chalise issued a statement urging experienced and capable individuals from diverse fields such as medicine, education, law, industry, information technology, agriculture, labor, and civil society to join the democratic platform of the Congress. 

According to the statement, the Congress aims to make transparency, accountability, and policy-based politics its main foundation, centering on institutional values and principles rather than individual capacity. Concluding that the participation of experienced individuals carrying new ideas and innovative energy is indispensable for strengthening the nation and democracy, the Congress has requested everyone to participate in this common campaign of nation-building.
