Prachanda Stresses Communist Cooperation During National Crises at Joint Election Rally

Galekot (Baglung), 29 Magh: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has stated that although there are political differences among various communist parties, they have always collaborated when the nation faces difficulties.

Addressing a joint election rally of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and Rastriya Janamorcha in Galekot today, he mentioned that the collaboration in Baglung is intended to send a message of unity across the country.

Chairman Dahal asserted that the electoral understanding with Janamorcha sends a message of unity nationwide and that this cooperation will continue even after the elections. "There are political differences among various communist parties, but we have collaborated in the past when the nation faced difficulties. This time too, tactical unity and alliances will be formed to steer the country away from crisis," he said. "We have advanced party unity and cooperation by looking at the situation following the protests on Bhadra 23 and 24. In that context, cooperation with Janamorcha has been established."

CPN (Masal) General Secretary Mohan Bikram Singh expressed confidence that the country is in a serious crisis and that the elections will bring it onto the right path. He urged people not to take the upcoming elections on Falgun 21 lightly and asked them to vote for those who will work in the nation's interest.

It was informed at the program that in the two constituencies here, the CPN (Maoist Centre) will support Janamorcha's Krishna Adhikari in Constituency No. 1, and Janamorcha will support CPN (Maoist Centre)'s candidate Gyamanath Gaire in Constituency No. 2.
