Three Killed in Separate Road Accidents Across Nepal

Three people died in separate road accidents in three different districts of Nepal on Thursday. The deceased included one motorcycle rider and one auto-rickshaw driver along with a passenger in accidents that occurred in Palpa, Chitwan, and Dang.

In Palpa's Mathagadhi Rural Municipality-1, Budhikot, 60-year-old Kamal Raj Neupane died after his motorcycle, bearing registration number Lu. 21 Pa 9012, went out of control and crashed. Police stated that Neupane passed away during treatment at Lumbini Medical College, Prabhas, where he was rushed after sustaining serious injuries.

Similarly, in Chitwan's Bharatpur Metropolitan City-7, Prem Basti School Chowk, one person died when a Scorpio vehicle collided with an auto-rickshaw. The Scorpio, registered as Ba. Pra 01-029 Cha 1417, hit the auto-rickshaw, registration Ba. Pra 03-001 Ha 2388, resulting in the death of 44-year-old Min Bahadur Khatri Chhetri, who was traveling in the auto-rickshaw. The auto-rickshaw driver and four others injured in the accident are currently receiving treatment at New Medical College, Bharatpur. Police have taken the Scorpio driver into custody and are further investigating the incident.

In Dang's Gadhwa Rural Municipality-1, Jurouni, an auto-rickshaw driver was killed after being hit by a tipper truck. The tipper, registered as Na. 8 Kha 3264, struck the auto-rickshaw, Ra. 1 Ha 7355, killing 36-year-old auto driver Jor Kumar Pun. He passed away during treatment at Bhaluwang Hospital, while two other injured passengers from the auto-rickshaw have been referred to Butwal for further treatment.

Police have detained the tipper driver and informed that necessary legal procedures have been initiated concerning all the accidents.
