Over 16,600 Patients Avail Services at Provincial Ayurveda Hospital in Six Months

Tanahun. A total of 16,631 people have received health services from the Provincial Ayurveda Hospital, Damouli, over a period of six months. This number of patients received treatment services from the beginning of Shrawan to the end of Poush in the current fiscal year.

According to the office, 2,653 patients received treatment services in the month of Shrawan, 1,899 in Bhadra, and 1,483 in Asoj. Similarly, the numbers were 2,137 in Kartik, 3,822 in Mangsir, and 4,637 in Poush.

Senior Kaviraj Inspector Shambhu Chapagain informed that the attraction for patients coming for treatment at the Provincial Ayurveda Hospital has been increasing recently. He stated, "As the Ayurvedic treatment methods have become effective, the number of patients coming for treatment is increasing."

Patients come for treatment at the hospital not only from Tanahun but also from neighboring districts such as Gorkha, Lamjung, Syangja, and Kaski. The Outpatient Department (OPD) service launched by the office has served the highest number of people, totaling 6,163.

Likewise, 5,906 benefited from Panchakarma, 3,107 from Yoga services, 1,086 from Physiotherapy, 159 from Laboratory, 76 from Lactating Mother and Infant Service, 29 from Shirodhara, and one person from Ksharsutra. Office Chief and Ayurveda Doctor Narayan Shrestha stated that patients suffering mainly from gastric issues, arthritis, neurological disorders, and skin diseases come for treatment the most.
