US Indo-Pacific Commander Admiral Paparo to Visit Nepal for Three Days

Kathmandu. Admiral Samuel Paparo, Commander of the United States Indo-Pacific Command, is scheduled to arrive in Nepal on Thursday. The Directorate of Public Relations and Information of the Nepali Army stated that he is arriving in Nepal tomorrow for a three-day official visit.

According to the pre-scheduled program, the delegation led by Paparo is scheduled to land in Kathmandu via a special aircraft. It is reported that he will hold high-level meetings during the three-day visit. He will also observe the Birendra Peace Keeping Operations Training Center of the Nepali Army located in Panchkhal.

The visit is expected to further deepen and strengthen the decades-long bilateral relationship between Nepal and the United States.

It is particularly anticipated that this visit will significantly contribute to enhancing cooperation and capacity building between the two countries in areas of common interest such as humanitarian assistance, disaster management, and world peace establishment.

Admiral Paparo's visiting team is scheduled to return home after concluding the visit on Falgun 2.
