Former Minister Prabhu Sah Demands Public Release of Commission Report on Post-Jana Andolan Incidents

Birgunj. Prabhu Sah, Chairman of the Aam Janata Party (Aam Janata Party - AJAPA) and former minister, has demanded the public release of the report from the investigation commission formed to probe incidents following the Jana Andolan (People's Movement).

Addressing an election program in Chhapkaiya, Birgunj on Wednesday, Sah questioned the government for not making the report public even after a long time since the commission was formed. He objected to the extension of the commission's term when the government's tenure is nearing its end.

Sah alleged that the failure of the investigation commission to bring out its report, even as the term of the government led by Sushila Karki was set for only six months and election dates have arrived, is an insult to the martyrs who lost their lives in the movement. He stated, 'From this very stage, I want to tell Sushila Karki—the tenure of the government under your leadership is about to end, but the term of the commission you formed keeps getting extended. Why are you committing such misdeeds? The officials of the commission have publicly stated that the report is ready, so what is the need for more time to make it public? Make it public.'

Sah also commented on the current political situation, criticizing various political leaders and powers. He stated that the role of the public is crucial in establishing good governance and justice in the country.

Sah mentioned that the upcoming election is linked to the public's expectations and the current political developments, expressing confidence that voters will make a judicious decision.
