Prime Minister Karki Expresses Gratitude to India for Election Support

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by neighboring country India for the upcoming elections.

During a meeting with Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava at Singha Durbar on Tuesday, she thanked India for providing various physical materials, including vehicles, to complete the elections taking place under the special circumstances of the country.

During the meeting, Ambassador Srivastava committed that India would always stand with Nepal's democratic process. He mentioned that as a good neighbor, it is India's duty to support Nepal's elections and stability. Ambassador Srivastava stated that the democratic and constitutional stability that Nepal achieves after the elections is equally important for India as a neighboring country.

According to the Prime Minister's private secretariat, various issues of bilateral interest and mutual cooperation were also discussed during the meeting.
