Passport Department Urges Applicants to Adhere to Scheduled Appointment Times

Kathmandu. The Department of Passports in Tripureshwor has urged service recipients coming to obtain passports to utilize the service at their chosen time slot. The department issued a notice on Tuesday making this request after service recipients started arriving at times different from those specified when filling out the online form.

Service recipients who appear at the time they selected while filling out the passport form will be given first priority. The department stated that it aims to complete the application process for such service recipients generally within one hour.

According to the notice, if any service recipient is unable to appear at their selected specific time, they will be served sequentially (based on availability and turn). This ensures that service recipients who adhere to the schedule will receive faster service without hassle.

The appointment time can be checked on the bottom right side of the application form filled out by the service recipient. The department stated, "We sincerely request everyone to cooperate with the department's effort to provide fast and efficient service by arriving at the designated appointment time."
