Election Commission to Launch Voter Education Program Ahead of By-elections

Kathmandu. The Election Commission is set to conduct a voter education program from Falgun 3 to 17 for the House of Representatives by-election scheduled for Falgun 21. Through this voter education program, the Commission has approved and is launching a special voter education program to provide timely information about the election process, the importance of the right to vote, and the voting method.

The Commission announced that it will mobilize mass media, social media, and volunteers. The Election Commission stated, 'Voter education volunteers will be mobilized from Falgun 3 to 17 in all 6743 wards of municipalities and rural municipalities across the country.'

The Commission announced that volunteers will be mobilized door-to-door and at the school level to make the program effective.
