Parsa District Administration Accelerates Preparations for Upcoming Federal Parliament Election

Birgunj. The District Administration Office, Parsa, has intensified preparations targeting the Federal Parliament member election scheduled for the upcoming Falgun 21. The administration has appointed two code of conduct monitoring officers to ensure the election is conducted in a clean, impartial, and fear-free environment.

According to Assistant Chief District Officer Suman Kumar Karki, Assistant CDO Binod Kumar Pokhrel and Manoj Kumar Joshi, Chief of the Treasury and Accounts Controller Office, have been assigned the responsibility of monitoring officers. This responsibility has been entrusted to them in accordance with the decision of the Election Commission and the provisions of the Election Code of Conduct 2082. The administration has also called upon the general public to immediately report any activities violating the code of conduct.

Meanwhile, to streamline election security and management, the heads of security agencies, led by Parsa's Chief District Officer Bhola Dahal, have begun on-site inspections of polling stations. On Sunday, the team gathered information regarding the status of seven polling stations located in five wards of Dhobini Rural Municipality.

The team included the heads of all four security agencies and the Election Office.
