Section of Ridi-Ridi-Ridi-Rudrabeni-Wamitaksar Road in Gulmi to be Partially Closed for Upgrading Work

Gulmi. The Ridi-Rudrabeni-Wamitaksar road section in Gulmi will be obstructed starting today.

Vehicle movement will be suspended for some time on the mentioned road section due to the start of road upgrading work in the Sisne Bhir area located in Satyabati Rural Municipality starting today.

The Road Division Office, Palpa, stated that cutting work is necessary to widen the road at Sisne Bhir, a highly sensitive and narrow location along the national highway, and thus the road will be partially obstructed from Magh 26 to Falgun 15. The Road Division Office has requested coordination from the District Administration Office, Gulmi, to facilitate this work.

During this period, vehicle movement will be completely closed daily from 6 AM to 9 AM, from 10 AM to 2 PM, and from 3 PM to 7 PM.

Similarly, the District Administration Office, Gulmi, has informed that vehicle movement will be open every day from 9 AM to 10 AM, 2 PM to 3 PM, and from 7 PM to 6 AM the next morning.

As an alternative route for vehicles, the Sota-Tallo Phant-Rupakot-Dokua-Salaghari-Chorkate road can be used during morning and afternoon hours, and the Majuwa-Damka-Rupakot-Myalpokhari-Chorkate road can be used from evening until morning.

The District Administration Office, Gulmi, has also requested Musikot Municipality and Chandrakot Rural Municipality to provide necessary support, coordination, and facilitation for this work. The administration expects cooperation from local levels, concerned bodies, and the general public to make the road upgrading work successful.
