Election Commission to Dispatch Nine Types of Election Materials from Center for Upcoming By-elections

Kathmandu. The Election Commission has decided to send nine types of election materials from the center for the House of Representatives by-election scheduled for the upcoming Falgun 21. The Commission has prepared to send nine types of election materials from the center and manage 37 types of election materials at the district level, informed Assistant Spokesperson Prakash Neupane to RSS.

He mentioned that the materials to be sent from the Commission to each constituency include security seals for training and polling centers, barricades, non-smudging ink markers, stamp pads, pad ink, two types of Swastika stamps, and ballot box stickers.

Similarly, the election materials to be managed at the district level include sealing boxes, schedule forms, pushpins, diaries (serving as a poll book), marker pens, scales, stapler machines, stapler pins, scissors, glue sticks, saucers (counting dampers), punching machines, ID card holders, inner and outer cards, male and female cards, voter serial numbers, polling center cards, plastic bags, sacks, twine, and packing tape.

Furthermore, the Commission has stated that Nepali paper envelopes (10 by 15 inches), Nepali cloth envelopes (for confidential ballots), white paper (A4) 30 sheets, record files (with ribbon), thread, needles, awls, flattish cloth, matches, plain cloth (two-meter pieces), black and red gel pens, and four packets of candles are also listed as election materials to be managed at the district level.
