Home Minister Assures Robust Security for Federal Parliament Elections

Nuwakot. Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has stated that robust security arrangements have been made for the House of Representatives elections. Speaking to journalists after receiving information regarding election security and code of conduct implementation at the Office of the Chief Election Officer, he said that the government is committed to making strong security arrangements to conduct the elections in a fear-free environment.

“The primary responsibility of the current government is to hold the elections, so our focus is entirely on completing them in a peaceful environment. Voters are requested to participate in voting without fear,” the Home Minister said, noting that an election atmosphere has been created across the country.

He also mentioned that information has been received from weather forecasting agencies and experts that the weather will be favorable on Falgun 21.
