You are contesting the House of Representatives election for the fourth time; how are you receiving the feedback?

I am currently on the campaign trail, traveling and meeting people. Everywhere I go in the villages, they say there is no leader other than Ammar Bahadur Thapa. What can I do? They say that among all the current candidates, Ammar Bahadur Thapa is the best and most capable, so they should vote for him.

Is that so? Is the ground support that strong?

There is ground support, of course! That is why the people of Dailekh have elected me three times. If there were no ground support, would they have elected me?

But in your constituency, the CPN (UML) is considered a weak party, and you won last time with Congress votes. Do the Congress-UML candidates even consider you a competitor?

No, across the country, the 'Star' (symbol) is the competitor. Who else is there? The number one party will be the Star. What does it matter what they say?

The people of Dailekh have elected you many times, but they say you failed to deliver results. Why should they elect you again?

To bring development and prosperity to Dailekh! The people are saying they will elect me as the leader who resides in their hearts and will raise their voice strongly in parliament. This is the talk everywhere; haven't you heard my campaign? Even people from Congress and UML are saying that I am the most capable and a person who can become a national-level leader, so they should vote for me.

But they say Ammar Bahadur Thapa did no work?

Others haven't been able to do even this much. Ammar Bahadur has brought development to every village and every locality.

Then which party is your competitor?

Currently, the competition is between Congress, UML, and us. But the 'Star' will surpass all of them.

Your friend, Rabindra Sharma of UML, says that Ammar Ji will not enter the competition?

I feel that Rabindra Ji might be the one who won't enter the competition. The Bell (Rastriya Swatantra Party symbol) will cut into the UML's votes. I respect the sentiment of the people of Dailekh, and if there is a better candidate than me, tell me, and I am ready to step aside. But among the current candidates, no one has a personality like mine, so everyone will vote for me.

What about RSP (Rastriya Swatantra Party) saying they will ring the Bell?

Such Bells and other things will go far away!

How many votes do you expect to get?

I expect to get more than 15 thousand votes now. 

Finally, what do you want to say through Ratopati, along with your agenda?

There are some projects of pride; the goal is to realize those unfulfilled dreams, which is to build the Surkhet-Dailekh Mahabu Road. And, to excavate the petroleum gas here and make Dailekh prosperous. That's all I have to say.
