Fifteen Members, Including Central Committee Member of CPN-Maoist Centre Faction, Defect to Nepali Congress in Lalitpur

Kathmandu. Fifteen individuals, including the Central Committee member and Lalitpur District In-charge of the CPN-Maoist Centre faction (CPN-M), have joined the Nepali Congress. Kumar Silwal, the Central Committee member and District In-charge of the CPN-Maoist Centre faction in Lalitpur, joined the Congress during a special district assembly organized by the Nepali Congress District Working Committee, Lalitpur.

Congress Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma welcomed them into the party by presenting them with scarves and garlands. Along with Silwal, Sunil Syangjali Magar, District Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Centre Youth Organization, Harikrishna Mahat, In-charge of Godawari Municipality, Sat Kumar Silwal, In-charge of Konjyosom Rural Municipality, Suresh Tamang, Co-coordinator of the Tamang Liberation Front in Lalitpur, and Suraj Sinjapati, District Member of Lalitpur, also joined the Congress.

Those who joined the party also include Ashok Rumba, Amar Singar, Sunil BK, Raju Tamang, Dipesh Magar, Indra Rana Magar, Sunil Magar, Navin Rana Magar, and Pravin Rana Magar.
