UAE Releases Over 100 Afghan Nationals on National Day Following Diplomatic Efforts

UAE. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced the release of more than 100 Afghan citizens from prison on the occasion of its National Day, following special directives from the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and continuous diplomatic efforts by the Islamic Emirate's embassy in the UAE.

It was stated that some of the released individuals have already returned to Afghanistan, and efforts are underway for the return of the rest, who are expected to return soon after the necessary legal procedures.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed gratitude to the UAE government and its relevant officials for their cooperation, stating that monitoring the release of Afghan prisoners abroad and ensuring their security is a top priority for the Ministry of Security.

TOLOnews, quoting political analyst Sayed Gharibullah Sadat, proposed that this process be further systematized by forming a joint coordination committee between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation to facilitate the return of Afghan citizens from various countries.
