Prime Minister Karki Assures Voters of Timely, Single-Phase Elections

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki has urged everyone to be confident that elections will be held on the scheduled date. Prime Minister Karki made this appeal while speaking to journalists after monitoring the ballot paper printing site, Janak Shiksha Samagri Kendra's press, on Thursday.

She also urged everyone to remain unconcerned, stating that the election would be held in a single phase. She expressed confidence that the weather across all regions would be favorable during the election period and that all voters would be able to cast their ballots without hindrance.

She stated that after the election, the current government would hand over power to the elected House of Representatives and return home. She said, 'Be assured and unconcerned. The election will happen on the same day. It will not happen twice. It will happen on the scheduled date. I think the weather will also be good. We will all be able to vote. We will hand over the government to the elected House of Representatives and go home.'

She also expressed gratitude and praised the role of the Election Commission in conducting the elections in a clean, fair, and fearless environment.
