The District Police Office reported that the driver, originally from Sindhuli but residing in Sankhuwasabha, fled immediately after the incident. A police team led by Police Inspector Meghraj Aryal from the District Police Office was dispatched upon receiving information about the incident.

The Num Police Post has taken the tractor into custody, finding it parked in Num Bazaar, Makalu-5, according to the police. The accident site is located 15 kilometers away from the Num Police Post.
