Nepal Oil Corporation Urges Consumers Against Hoarding Amid Regular Supply

Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) is increasing monitoring to prevent an artificial shortage of cooking gas in the market and has urged consumers not to hoard unnecessarily.

NOC's Executive Director, Chandika Prasad Bhatta, clarified that the import of gas is regular and smooth.

According to him, 111 bullets of gas were loaded from Indian Oil Corporation just yesterday (Wednesday), which is equivalent to approximately 140,700 cylinders.

He also informed that the Corporation is coordinating with the industries to ensure the smooth availability of Nepal Gas for consumers and is facilitating its distribution.

According to him, NOC has arranged for gas distribution in various locations within the Kathmandu Valley for today (Thursday) in coordination with Nepal Gas Industries.

According to the published distribution schedule, gas is being distributed today through 66 authorized dealers/depots in the valley. A total of 6,040 cylinders of gas have been sent to the market for today.
