Bill Gates Expresses Regret Over Association with Jeffrey Epstein

Washington D.C. – American billionaire businessman and Microsoft founder Bill Gates has spoken out for the first time regarding his association with Jeffrey Epstein.

Recently, the U.S. Department of Justice released approximately 3 million pages of documents related to Epstein. The names of many American wealthy individuals, including Gates and Elon Musk, appeared in these documents.

In an interview with Australia's 9News, Gates admitted that spending time with Epstein was foolish, expressing regret and apologizing for it. Gates clarified that he did not engage in any wrongdoing with Epstein.

He called an email allegedly written by Epstein to himself in 2013 false and never sent. “I don't know what his thinking was. But I regret every moment I spent with him,” Gates said. This reaction comes after his ex-wife, Melinda French Gates, stated in an interview with NPR that wealthy individuals who associated with Epstein must be held accountable.

Melinda has previously stated that Gates' relationship with Epstein was one of the reasons for the breakdown of their marriage. According to Gates, he first met Epstein in 2011. 

He claimed he thought Epstein could raise funds for the Gates Foundation. He also asserted that he never visited Epstein's private island and never met any women there.
