CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli Insists Elections Will Be Held on Falgun 21

Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that the election will take place on Falgun 21. He made this statement while addressing a meeting with the people of Jhapa.

Chairman Oli, who had previously maintained that the environment for elections was not yet ready, said that the election would possibly take place on Falgun 21, and even if it is delayed slightly beyond that date, the CPN-UML is the party that must win.

He stated that the CPN-UML is the leading party that represents patriotism, is patriotic-nationalist, and has led the patriotic movement. He added that in terms of ideology, practice, struggle, stance, and vision, UML is the party that leads in protecting and promoting national interests.

Chairman Oli stated that development works in the country gained momentum when the CPN-UML was in government.
