Prime Minister Karki Expresses Concern Over Health Insurance Issues, Schedules Stakeholder Meeting

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expressed concern over the problems surfacing in the health insurance scheme. She is scheduled to hold discussions with stakeholders today, Wednesday, to resolve the issues observed in the health insurance program.

The office of Prime Minister Karki stated that the Prime Minister is meeting with concerned parties to resolve the problems identified in the health insurance.

The secretariat announced that the discussion is set for 1 PM at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.  

For some time now, various hospitals have been stating that they have stopped providing services because the Health Insurance Board has not paid the amounts due for health insurance.
