Rabi Lamichhane Claims Nation is on Brink of 'Final Tsunami' Amid Political Turmoil

Kathmandu. The Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, has stated that the nation, which he likened to being scavenged by vultures, is preparing for a final tsunami. Chairman Lamichhane made this statement in a status update on the social media platform Facebook on Tuesday.

Urging all parties to unite for the upcoming elections, he said, 'I have an open appeal—unite openly or secretly, form the alliance that needs to be formed, whoever it is with. Exert the final effort and show that you can stop this tsunami.'

He further stated that while he accepts the election results, he will not accept any conspiracy, pressure, or threat to reinstate the old parliament, which was overthrown by a popular uprising, through deceitful means.

Lamichhane asserted that February 21 will be a milestone in Nepali history, not just an ordinary date. He added that the opposition in the parliament following February 21 must also be new.

He said, 'The opposition in the parliament after February 21 must also be new. Not even one snake can be kept. This country will finally be free from the criminal gang that looted the entire nation for so many years. We have entrusted the responsibility of writing the future of this country, which is currently held captive in the fists of a few middlemen, into your hands. Only into your hands.'
