Gold Prices Drop Significantly in Nepal; Silver Also Sees Decline

Kathmandu. On Monday, the price of gold decreased by NPR 13,400 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of stamped gold, which was set at NPR 300,000 per tola on Sunday, fell to NPR 286,600 on Monday.

The price of gold had reached as high as NPR 339,300 per tola on Thursday, which was the highest recorded price to date, but it is now decreasing again.

Similarly, the price of silver has also dropped. The Federation stated that the price of silver, which was set at NPR 5,500 per tola on Sunday, fell to NPR 5,200 on Monday.
