Rastriya Swatantra Party Marks Martyrs' Day, Links Sacrifice to Good Governance and Future Elections

Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has stated that the dreams of the martyrs can only be realized through the rule of law, a responsible state, and active citizens. Issuing a tribute message on the occasion of Martyrs' Day on Friday, the RSP expressed confidence that Martyrs' Day will inspire everyone to unite in the journey toward good governance and prosperity.

In the message issued by the party's Vice Chairman Dol Prasad (DP) Aryal, it is mentioned that the sacrifice of the martyrs is directly linked not only to political change but also to good governance, justice, and prosperity. The party paid deep homage to all known and unknown immortal martyrs who sacrificed their lives to end the autocratic Rana regime and for various political movements and the attainment of civil rights. The RSP concluded that the true respect for the martyrs' sacrifice lies in appropriately addressing national self-respect and public expectations.

In this context, Vice Chairman Aryal interpreted the upcoming election on Falgun 21 as the starting point for the rise of new hope and leadership in the country. The RSP also reiterated its commitment to always move the country towards prosperity by following the path shown by the martyrs.
