Tanahun Begins Collecting Data for Temporary Voters Ahead of Federal Elections

Tanahun. The collection of temporary voter details has begun in Tanahun for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21.

District Election Office Chief Bikash Lamsal stated that the data collection is underway for government employees, security personnel, and inmates within the district who are eligible to participate in the Proportional Representation electoral system.

The Office of the Chief Returning Officer has also held discussions with stakeholders regarding adherence to the code of conduct and ensuring tight security arrangements. Chief Returning Officer Bishnu Prasad Upadhyaya reported that no complaints regarding code of conduct violations have been filed so far.

There are 254,397 registered voters participating in the First-Past-the-Post electoral system. This district has two constituencies.
