During the meeting, Vice President Yadav also extended his heartfelt best wishes for the happiness, peace, and prosperity of the friendly Russian people on the occasion of the National Day of the Russian Federation.  

On the same occasion, Russian Ambassador Surovtsev expressed his commitment to continuously provide cooperation from his side to make Nepal-Russia relations stronger and more profound. He mentioned that the Russian government is willing to provide further assistance to Nepal in various sectors including hydropower, agriculture, medicine, and physical infrastructure.
