Acting Mayor Sunita Dangol Stresses Integrated Planning Following Martyrs' Path

Kathmandu. Acting Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Sunita Dangol, has stated the necessity of moving forward by creating an integrated plan with the cooperation and coordination of all bodies along the path shown by the martyrs. Addressing a program organized in Kathmandu on Martyrs' Day, Acting Mayor Dangol emphasized moving ahead on the roadmap shown by the martyrs.

She stated that the governance, freedom, and independence currently being enjoyed are built upon the sacrifices made by the martyrs. She mentioned that the practice of the democratic system of governance, considered the best among world governance systems, has been possible due to the sacrifices of the martyrs.

She asserted that the exercise of civil rights, inclusivity, and inclusion has been possible because of the martyrs' sacrifices. Acting Mayor Dangol stated that this achievement is a day to remind the youth of sacrifice and dedication.

She mentioned that political leaders, activists, and the general public should be able to draw inspiration from the sacrifices of the martyrs. She asserted that civil rights, inclusivity, and inclusion are a beautiful gift given by the martyrs for Nepal and Nepalis.

Acting Mayor Dangol stated that rather than just remembering the martyrs on this special day, energy should be drawn from them to work in such a way that the daily impact is visible in the management and governance of the system.
