Father Arrested in Gulmi for Allegedly Killing His Own Infant Son

Gulmi. A father in Isma Rural Municipality, Gulmi, has allegedly murdered his own minor son. Police arrested 46-year-old Sant Bahadur Kumal, a resident of Chhalditar, Isma Rural Municipality-2, on Thursday morning on the charge of murdering his 3-month-old son, Subas Kumal.

According to the police, Sant Bahadur allegedly killed the minor son on Wednesday night after consuming intoxicating substances. Upon receiving information about the incident, a team dispatched from the Hastichaur Police Post took him into custody. It has not yet been determined why he committed this act against the minor while under the influence of intoxicants.

Police have now taken the accused Kumal into custody and have begun a detailed investigation into the incident.
