Lumbini Province Assembly Session Scheduled for Today with Key Legislative Agenda

Butwal. The Lumbini Province Assembly meeting is set to convene again today. The third session of the seventh convention is scheduled to begin at 1 PM today.

The agenda for today's meeting includes provincial assembly members speaking on contemporary issues during the special time segment. Chief Minister Chetanarayan Acharya will present a bill in the assembly to amend the District Assembly and District Coordination Committee Operation Act, 2075.

Similarly, Social Development Minister Janmajay Timilsina will present a proposal for a theoretical discussion on the bill concerning the rights of Dalits and will answer questions raised during the discussion.

Health Minister Khag Bahadur Saru's agenda includes presenting a proposal for a theoretical discussion on the Provincial Pesticide Management and Regulation Bill, 2082, and answering questions raised during that process.

Furthermore, Chief Minister Acharya is also scheduled to present reports from various commissions to the assembly, as informed by the Province Assembly Secretary, Durlav Kumar Pun Magar.
