Lumbini Province Assembly Meeting Scheduled for Today with Key Legislative Agenda

Butwal. The meeting of the Lumbini Province Assembly is set to convene again today. The third session of the seventh convention is scheduled to begin at 1 PM today.

The agenda for today's meeting includes Province Assembly members speaking on contemporary issues during the special time slot. Chief Minister Chetanarayan Acharya will present a bill in the assembly to amend the District Assembly and District Coordination Committee Operation Act, 2075.

Similarly, Social Development Minister Janmajaya Timilsina will present a proposal for a theoretical discussion on the bill formulated to make provisions regarding the rights of Dalits, and will also answer questions raised during the theoretical discussion. This is included in the agenda.

Health Minister Khambadur Saru's agenda includes presenting a proposal for a theoretical discussion on the Provincial Pesticide Management and Regulation Bill, 2082, and answering questions raised during that process.

Furthermore, Chief Minister Acharya is also scheduled to present reports from various commissions to the assembly, as informed by Province Assembly Secretary Durlabh Kumar Pun Magar.
