Western Low-Pressure System Affecting Nepal's Weather Forecast

Kathmandu. The Department of Meteorology has stated that a western low-pressure system is currently influencing Nepal. Due to this influence, there is generally cloudy weather in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the remaining areas are experiencing partial cloud cover.

This afternoon, the high hilly and Himalayan regions of the country will be completely overcast, and the remaining hilly and Terai regions will have general cloud cover. There is a possibility of moderate snowfall and rain in some parts of the high hilly and Himalayan regions.

There is a possibility of moderate rainfall in some parts of the remaining areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and light rainfall in a few places in the hilly regions of Bagmati, Madhesh, and Koshi provinces, and one or two places in the Terai region of Koshi province.

 Tonight, the hilly and Himalayan regions of the country will have partial cloud cover, and the weather in the remaining areas will be mostly clear. The Department has indicated a possibility of light snowfall and rain in one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
