Two Committee Reports Presented in National Assembly Session

Two reports were presented in today's meeting of the National Assembly.

In today's meeting, Committee Chairperson of the Legislation Management Committee, Tulsakumari Dahal, presented the 'Report of the Legislation Management Committee on the Film Bill, 2081'.

Similarly, the 'Annual Report of the Committee on Federalism Empowerment and National Concerns for the Fiscal Year 2081/82' was presented in the assembly. Committee Chairperson of the Committee on Federalism Empowerment and National Concerns, Sonam Geljen Sherpa, presented the report.

Presenting the committee's report on the Film Bill, Chairperson Dahal stated that this law is important for developing the film sector as a social, cultural, and entertainment industry, promoting the country as a tourism destination through films, and for the system of pre-screening films, promotion, and regulation.

The next meeting of the assembly will be held on Wednesday, Magh 14, at 1:15 PM.
