Rastriya Swatantra Party Leader Balen Shah's Arrival in Dhangadhi Sparks Political Excitement, Unable to Enter Office Due to Massive Crowd

Dhangadhi. The visit of Balendra Shah (Balen), senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and candidate for Jhapa-5 in the upcoming elections, has created a new political wave in Dhangadhi. During his election campaign, when Balen arrived in Dhangadhi on Tuesday via Bardiya, such a massive crowd gathered to welcome him that he could not even enter his own party's contact office.

Candidates including Anand Bahadur Chand and other leaders were waiting inside the contact office in Dhangadhi, targeting the election in Kailali Constituency No. 5. However, due to the excessive crowd outside the office and slogans in favor of the 'Balen Government,' the situation did not allow him to enter. As the crowd began to go out of control, he waved to the supporters from outside and left for Kanchanpur, ringing his bell.

Balen is scheduled to reach Mahendranagar today via Punarbas in Kanchanpur. He will address election rallies organized in Jhalari and Mahendranagar there.

Balen, who resigned from the post of Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City to engage in a nationwide campaign, has also planned to participate in election programs in the hilly districts of the Far-Western Region.
