Shobita Simkhada Makes Acting Comeback After Decade Away Focused on Spiritual Journey

Shobita Simkhada, who stepped away from films after becoming an Osho sannyasin, has made a comeback to acting. She has returned through the film 'Great', currently being shot under the direction of Manoj Pandit.

She announced her comeback on social media after being absent from the film industry for over a decade.

"After a journey of many years in spirituality, I am returning to a creative 'sound' again. Today I am back on set," she stated. "The familiar rhythm of light, sound, and camera surrounds me." She mentioned that she is not the same person she was before, noting that not only her role has changed, but also her perspective and depth of thought.

"I stand here with new feelings, new energy, and a greater sense of responsibility," she continued. "I have full faith that the camera lens this time will capture not just my face, but also the transformation within me." She expressed confidence that she will appear clearer, more determined, and more powerful in her acting than before.

The film is currently being shot in Mahashila, a historical and tourist destination in the Parbat district.
