Tanahun District Police Re-invites Applications for Election Police Due to Manpower Shortage

Tanahun. The District Police Office, Tanahun, has re-invited applications, citing a shortage of manpower for election police. While applications were sought for 1,573 election police personnel, 1,433 applications were received in Tanahun.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Shrawan Kumar Bik of the District Police Office informed that after physical fitness and health checks, written examinations were conducted for 1,236 individuals who passed, with 1,216 ultimately passing the written test.

The office has issued a notice re-inviting applications for additional election police personnel. The office, which previously accepted applications from Poush 25 to Magh 3, has now made arrangements for applications to be submitted until today.

According to DSP Bik, applications can be submitted at the District Police Office Damuali, Area Police Office Amkhyareni, Area Police Office Belchautara, Area Police Office Bhanu, and Area Police Office Bandipur. Following the re-invitation, 192 people applied on Saturday, comprising 67 women and 125 men.
